OPTIMUM SOLAR IS ALSO AT AN ADVANCED LEVEL IN ESG

We are happy and proud to announce that our company achieved the highest, Advanced level according to the evaluation methodology of the BÉT ESG Pilot program during the implementation of the methodological work.

As we previously shared the news, Optimum Solar was among the few Hungarian SMEs that won the Budapest Stock Exchange's so-called ESG Pilot Consulting program application. Within the framework of the development program implemented with GINOP funds, the ESG consultants accredited by the BSE examined how the BSE-developod SME ESG methodology can be implemented for the unique characteristics of Hungarian SMEs.

Mr. Roland Lugos, board member of Optimum Solar, said in relation to the ESG program that:

we are very proud of the Advanced level certification, because winning the tender and implementing it was not an easy task, but thanks to the team's commitment to ESG, we successfully overcame all obstacles and difficulty.

The Advanced level qualification also means that we have achieved outstanding results in several areas. Among these, we are particularly proud of the cooperation with our direct environment and local communities, which contribute to the social and economic development surrounding the operation of our company. Furthermore, it is extremely important for us to reduce the emissions and other environmental impacts from our own operations, for example the utilization of the Baja site for renewable energy, and the achievement of the outstanding energy efficiency, AA++ rating.

In addition, our results, and forward-looking measures in the areas of sustainable planning, social responsibility (supporting local communities with educational programs and donations) and ESG-related knowledge management are significant.

As a result of the program, our company's first ESG report was born and we also published our first ESG strategy, which aimed for Optimum Solar to be completely climate neutral - by 2035.
